In tksurfer, is it possible to display some labels as outlines and other labels as opaque? If not, I would find this a very useful feature (namely, for masking out subcortical regions while showing activation within cortical labels).

you can use the "mask_label" command to erase activation in non-cortical regions then use the outline labels mode. Type this at the tcl (%) prompt, and give it the file name of the label (cortex I think).
