We want to extract a spherical ROI of cortical thickness values centered at the same Talairach coordinate for each brain in a study. Any suggestions? In the 2007 archives there is an instructive thread about declaring spherical ROIs on a volume, but I'm not clear about how we would place the initial point at the same Talairach coordinate in every participant.
Thanks, Stephen

Hi Stephan,
I guess you could draw the ROI in one subject at the appropriate tal coords, use mri_label2label to map it across subject using the tal xform, then sample it onto the surfaces of each subject.
cheers Bruce

might be better to draw it on fsaverage and then propagate it to the other subjects, but both would work.
