Dear all,

I would like to convert Freesurfers cortical parcellations to VTK files (just Freesurfers label index on the resulting polydata is fine). Therefore I run

mris_convert --annot aparc.annot lh.pial lh.aparc.vtk

This results into

reading colortable from annotation file... colortable with 36 entries read (originally /autofs/space/terrier_001/users/nicks/freesurfer/average/colortable_desikan_killiany.txt) ERROR: unknown file annot file type specified for output: lh.aparc.vtk

Does anyone have an idea about how to get this done?
