External Email - Use Caution

I would start with 2 threads and if that succeeds try increasing to 4, but doubt 16 threads is feasible.  I'm not sure what is calling JIT but that is likely a bottleneck running under Rosetta on arm64 Macs.  I expect this command will no longer run once Apple removes Rosetta from MacOS which I think is scheduled for MacOS 28.
