I tried to install CUDA to use with freesurfer, but I got some errors that I sent to freesurfer list sometime ago... Could you please send how can I install CUDA and freesurfer in a Ubuntu platform ?...

You will have to use either deb package or the cuda installer from nvidia. since I have only used the package from nvidia. You should installed using sudo. I did the follwoing protocoll to install cuda.
Chmod +x Cuda, the sudo ./cuda. The you will have to add the path to your libarypath. In my case I added thesse two files two /etc/ld.so.conf.d.. However I use Fedora.
