Look in the recon-all.log file found in the scripts directory of each subject, and a version number for the recon-all script is printed early in the file. If it is version 1.17.2.3, then it was created with freesurfer 3.0.2.

fyi, beginning with v3.0.4 of freesurfer, the contents of the build- stamp.txt file (found in $FREESURFER_HOME) are included in a subjects recon-all.log, providing a direct indication of the freesurfer version number used to process the subject.

I am sending you, via file-drop (a separate email will arrive), subject bert analysed with v3.0.2. We don't have the 'good_output' subject on- hand processed by that version.

Is there something in particular you are looking for?
