We're looking for someone who can build bridges between machine learning, neuroscience, and mental health, using computational approaches to uncover how the brain, body, and environment give rise to resilience—or vulnerability.

The position is exceptionally well-funded and part of the One Health Center, an interdisciplinary cluster of 15 professors across three universities in Bochum, linking AI, medicine, systems biology, and environmental science. The Ruhr area also hosts multiple SFBs and research centers, making this a perfect ecosystem for collaborative computational science.
