Hi Jurgen,

the same happens here. The reason for that is that guys pointed the link on the webpage to an nonexisting file. The file uploaded on the server is called freesurfer-Darwin-leopard-i686-stable-pub-v4.0.3-full.dmg while the webpage refers to freesurfer-Darwin-tiger-i686-stable-pub-v4.0.3-full.dmg                                         ^^^^ The workaround is:

1. copy the following link to your webbrowser address or click it here in the email

ftp://surfer.nmr.mgh.harward.edu/pub/dist

and choose the correct file.

The site is fixed now. The filename had 'tiger' in it instead of 'leopard'. For the Mac, freesurfer is now built on the Leopard OS.

A build for the Tiger OS for the PowerPC is available if anybody requests it. A build for the Tiger OS for the Intel Mac is not available.
