I am about to purchase a workstation which will be used to run Freesurfer. Can you tell me the recommended specification for suitable hardware and OS.

Hi Mary,
I would get at least 1G of ram (although we currently run in less), and an nvidia graphics card, as we've found incompatibilities with others. Paul: any other suggestions?
