Hello FS experts,
I have a large number of subjects to go through with running FS and I was wondering if there is any other way that I can speed this process up? Where I work, they have a "super computer" system where they can run parallel processing and I was wondering if Fs is able to run on such a system? I'm not too sure if that makes sense but I know the essence of it is to run a greater number of processing streams at one particular time.
Thanks. Fatima
Hi Fatima,
yes, we do this all the time. You just launch multiple recon-all jobs in parallel.

Hi Bruce,
Ok, so if I wanted to run multiple recon-all jobs in parallel, how would I go about in doing that? My one problem is that I am running FS on an emulator (VMware). And I'm wondering if that will stop me from running multiple jobs? And if not, how would I go about doing this on the super computer I was talking about previously?
Thanks, Fatima

I think it would run. But it's hard to tell without knowing the system. ----------------------------------------------------------- Pedro Paulo de M. Oliveira Junior Diretor de Operações Netfilter & SpeedComm Telecom --- Novo Netfilter 3.2 www.Netfilter.com.br --- Novo Netfilter Small Business
