Hello Ishi, After reviewing this thread, I made a *.deb installer from the 7.1.1 release.  I will send a download link to your private email so you can try it if you like.  You will need sudo privileges to run it.  If you try it, I suggest you first at least temporarily remove the soft link you made to fake having a libncurses.so.5 on your system. - R.
