Hi all When I run selxavg3-sess with a sessid which contain more than six subjects, the procedure report some error as following: Error in ==> fast_selxavg3 at 270

ERROR: fast_selxavg3() failed\n
Is this a bug or my misused? My freesurfer version is stable 4.0.1. I guess some fclose(files) is missed in fast_selxavg3.m.Please help us.
Thanks very much.

If you type:
limit
what is the number of descriptors? Typically its 1024 or more. If its a small number, you can increase by:
unlimit descriptors

Thanks,Nick.
The limit descriptors our system is 1024. Is not enough for six subjects( six run per subject)?
Thanks again.

Yes, that should be more than enough, so the problem is something completely different. Others might have something to suggest.
