Dear FS experts
we constructed a customized template (using make_average_subject) to register the individual surfaces on that template instead of the fsaverage template. we recognized that there are, at least, two ways to do this either using mris_register or using surfreg.
Is there any difference between the two tools and which tool is recommended?
Thanks in advance Regards Jürgen

Hi Jürgen
surfreg is a wrapper around mris_register.
