Dear Freesurfer mailinglist,
I am developing a fMRI task in which I would like to include 2 jitters. One trial looks like this: Stimulus (5000ms) >> Waiting screen (jitter1) >> Feedback (2000 ms) >> Fixation (jitter2) There will be three types of trials, and in one of those trial-types the feedback displayed is contingent on the choice made during the stimulus-screen. We are interested in the both events stimulus and feedback.
How can we optimize the two jitters in this design? As far as I know, OPTSEQ can provide one optimal jitter, but I could not figure out whether OPTSEQ can provide two lists of optimal jitters for one trial, when the time between the jitters is not the same. Is this possible? And in other words, does it even make sense to make two separate, independent jitterlists with OPTSEQ or is it not useful because only one of the two lists is optimal anyway?
I would really like to have your input. Thanks in advance!
Jorien
