 It would help if you provide some context as to:- which Ubuntu .deb installer you used, e.g., the 8.0.0 beta or 7.4.1 Ubuntu 22 installer- whether or not you are running Ubuntu in some kind of virtual machine (VM), WSL or alternately using a real linux box - R.
