While running freesurfer I obtain the following error message
Assertion failed at line 827 in file templates/CachedArray.cc nu_estimate_np_and_em: crashed while running volume_stats (termination status=256) nu_correct: crashed while running nu_estimate_np_and_em (termination status=256)ERROR: nu_correct
The mri looks okay. I cannot find anything in the wiki
Any ideas appreciated.
Hi Richard,
I guess check the MNI web site - that's an N3 error message, not one of ours.

Richard,
I can't say I've ever seen that error message (which is part of the MNI toolkit included with Freesurfer). Which OS are you running and which Freesurfer distribution is installed? And is there another MNI installation setup in the path somewhere that might be conflicting with the Freesurfer installation?
