Hello all,
My lab needs to obtain STG volumes for a bunch of minc files. I've been going through the wiki and found that recon-all has to be run to first convert the files into mgz after which it will automatically generate a file with the volumes.
I ran it on one of our computers (P4 @ 3.8 Ghz with 4 gigs of RAM) and it took 23 hrs. I was wondering if this is the amount of time it'll always take or if there's a way to bypass everything so that I can just obtain STG volumes.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks - Aju.

sorry, you need to wait a bit longer. The time is variable depending on the brain, but 12-16 hours/hemisphere is pretty common.
