Dear experts,
I tried running recon-all for a subject and it exited with the following error:
LINE SEARCH FAILED. SEE DOCUMENTATION OF ROUTINE MCSRCH ERROR RETURN OF LINE SEARCH: INFO= 3 POSSIBLE CAUSES: FUNCTION OR GRADIENT ARE INCORRECT OR INCORRECT TOLERANCESoutof QuasiNewtonEMA: 010: -log(p) = -0.0 tol 0.000010
I'm using freesurfer-Linux-centos6_x86_64-stable-pub-v5.3.0 and my operating system is 14.04.1-Ubuntu.
attached is the recon-all.log.
Best, Ladan
Hi Ladan
that is a warning burried in the depths of some numerical optimization libraries we use that I don't think matters. Did you kill the recon job? I think it was running fine and you should let it go to completion then take a look at the results
