* System Administrator / Programmer*

The Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center (*www.nrc-iol.org*) at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital seeks a full-time Linux systems administrator / programmer. The primary responsibilities will be to manage a network of over 50 Linux (RedHat, CentOS) based computers, including a 30 node SGE cluster used for the analysis of neuroimaging (MRI, EEG) and biomedical research data, managing the local network, performing regular data backups, and configuring/managing network-served applications and licenses (Matlab, several specialized neuroimaging software packages, etc.). Other duties will include liaising with Hartford Hospital's IT department, troubleshooting the computer components of other Olin research tools, and assisting with development of the open-source Neuroinformatics Database (NIDB, http://nidb.sourceforge.net). To be considered, candidates must have Linux system admin and programming experience. PHP, Perl, MySQL, Matlab, C++, Python programming experience is a plus. The Olin Center is a psychiatric neuroscience brain imaging research center located in Hartford, CT that processes and manages a large volume of data produced by several different types of neuroscience research techniques.
