External Email - Use Caution Dear freesurfer experts, I'm trying to display the results of a study on a brain with Desikan and Killiany parcellation. Currently, I use tksurfer fsaverage, load the aparc.annot annotation, modify the colortable with values of interest and load it. However, in this way I can display only cortical regions. Any suggestions on how I could display cortical and subcortical regions at the same time? And where do I find an ordered list of cortical + subcortical structures to modify the values in each ROI? Error with pial delineation

External Email - Use Caution Dear Freesurfer team, I have a question regarding the freesurfer delineation of the subject in attachment. Here the pial delineation crosses the ventricle, instead of being delineating around the hippocampus. The light purple corresponds to the inferior lateral ventricle, and the dark purple corresponds to lateral ventricle segmentation. The hippocampus is the yellow segmentation. Would it be important to fix this for regional analyses? It seems as though the regions themselves were correctly assigned. What would be the appropriate way to fix this? Could control points be of any help? Thank you! Best regards Julie

I am trying to run tracula- TRAC-All and I get this error message, i assumed it is because that bvals and bvecs needed to be predetermined but it seems like that is not the case and i am still getting the same error: Transform file should be eddy_correct/eddy log file or .mat file What do you think the problem is? External Email - Use Caution Hi all, *We have openings for Postdoc and PhD positions @ UConn brainLENS Lab:* https://www.brainlens.org/employment *Fumiko Hoeft MD PhD*, Professor of the Departments of Psychological Sciences, Mathematics, Neuroscience and Psychiatry, and Director of the Brain Imaging Research Center at the University of Connecticut in CT US, is now accepting applications of *up to two postdoctoral fellows* to begin sometime between now and the fall of 2021; and/or *two PhD students* to begin in the fall of 2021. Our bicoastal labs at UCSF and UConn have a strong track-record in interdisciplinary research spanning from theory, multimodal neuroimaging (fMRI, dMRI, TMS, MRS, EEG, etc), genetics, machine learning and network approaches, on topics relevant to reading development, dyslexia and resilience/compensatory mechanisms (see on the website). We are particularly interested in candidates who have a background or interest in behavioral genetics, and/or computational (machine learning / network) approaches that can be applied to neuroimaging data; and/or fetal/neonatal neuroimaging. The positions are fully funded, primarily by NIH grants, and by graduate research assistantships (GRAs).
