Hi Shahin, you actually can do this in 5.x. If you configure the analysis correctly, you can analyze in the native functional space. Part of 5.x will require that you have a subject, but that subject can be anything (eg, human fsaverage), and, if you configure for native space, the results that are based on the subject will not be used.
