Many thanks for your effort and help. The binaries did not work unfortunately seemingly because of libcuda from 6.5 not being forward compatible with libcuda from 7.5, as you noted.

I've sent a tarball in a separate email - let me know if it gets through. I wouldn't be too hopeful, though - I don't know that libcuda is forward compatible.
