Can you send me the output of sourcing the SetUpFreeSurfer.csh file?
It should display the TCLLIBPATH environment variable, which should point into your new freesurfer installation directory, which contains the tcl, tk, tix and blt libraries.
Antao was able to get tkmedit to work, but I'm not sure how.
