Viola,
The .levels files need an extra carriage return after the last level (so that the cursor is on an empty line). But even doing that, I get an error for the gender.levels file that I cant figure out right now. But you can delete the gender.levels file and the qdec.table.dat file will load correctly (i verified this). the .levels files are not required, but are just sanity-checkers.

Hello, I have got the following problem: if I want to load the qdec.table.dat, I get the following message:
ERROR: 0xbfd96154 is invalid. Must have at least two levels.
Attached is the table and the levels files. Do you know what is wrong?
Best regards,
Viola

Chris,
This is an unusual error. I dont know why nu_correct would be found for some subjects but not others, if its being run on the same platform. I can only think this is a network issue. Is it replicable? nu_correct can be run from the command line.
The intensity normalization issues in v5.1 are related to a change in 5.1 where talairach was run before nu_correct, which doesnt seem to work as well as when run before. this is being changed for v5.2.
Nick
I believe this post slipped through the cracks. Anyone have any thoughts on this nu_correct error. Some subjects ran fine, so it seems to be an intermittent problem and not an installation problem.
Also, is this possibly related to the avi_talairach/intensity normalization issues being discussed in another post?

Hello, I am trying to run recon-all using freesurfer 5.1.0. This worked on most of my subjects, but for about 10 subjects, I got an error:
nu_correct: Command not found
I can see on the archive that several others have run into this problem, but I couldn't figure out from the archives what the solution is. I do have perl installed in usr/bin.
Thanks very much, Katie
