Hi Zhiliang
Hausdorff distance is typically computed between two sets (the max of the min distances). For thickness we compute the closest point from one surface to the other (e.g. white to pial) and the reverse, then average them.

Dear FS experts: I'm doing a project about the changes of cortical thickness after sleep deprivation. I know that cortical thickness is calculated as the closest distance from the gray/white boundary to the gray/CSF boundary at each vertex. Is the thickness calculated using the Hausdorff distance?
