Thank you very much Bruce.
I'll have a try and let you know.
Best,

Hi Pietro
it's tough to tell from a single slice, but I would guess that the wm of the superior temporal gyrus isn't well segmented resulting in a topological defect that cuts it off. Can you put control points in the wm there? Look in the wm.mgz and see if the gyrus connects and disconnects repeatedly, which is the hallmark of a topological defect. If you can't figure it out, feel free to upload the data and I'll take a look.
cheers Bruce

Hi freesurfers,
I have a problem editing a topological defect given that it is represented by cortex non included within the pial boundary without white matter in it. The problem is I can't use white matter to place control points and/or edit voxel in the aux wm.mgz volume... I'm attaching an image... the area I'm talking about is indicated by green arrows.
Thanks in advance,
Pietro
