Hi Jon,
are the ventricles labeled properly in the aseg? Probably not. Try running recon-all with -bigventricles and see if it improves.

We are having trouble posteriorly with delineating the pial and white matter surfaces in scans with lots of atrophy. I include 2 pictures which highlight the problem. We would greatly appreciate your opinion on dealing with this.
