I downloaded the mri_ca_register_cuda binary from the ftp site
ftp://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/pub/dist/freesurfer/misc/linux-centos6_x86_64/mri_ca_register_cuda
I'm not sure whether this is an unstable version or not but when I use it the subsequent inversion step does not work:
I'm happy to send the m3z file if you wish to debug it.
mri_ca_register -invert-and-save transforms/talairach.m3z
