Try using mri_surf2surf with the --sval-annot flag.

I've tried doing this using a discrete-valued surface and using seg2annot, but, when I convert surfaces there are vertices between regions whose values are averages of bordering vertices. This ruins the continuity of each individual label with little islands of various values. Is there a mri_annot2annot or equivalent? Thanks!
