I don't know if anyone has had this problem before but when I remote desktop into a PC running freesurfer (csurf), the brain image in tkmedit turns blue. In addition, tksurfer doesn't load. When I relog on to the PC, I can reload tkmedit and it works fine.
This sounds like something related to how the X drivers are implemented in in either the remote desktop software or the X server. We don't test setups like that here though, so I don't have any ideas where to start looking.
