[Freesurfer] working with *.mgh files

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to invert *.mgh files (i.e., for each voxel, newvalue = 1/value). For example, is there a way to load *.mgh files into matlab?

I need this to calculate R1 from T1.mgh.
