Hi Abel,
it looks like either damaged or very thin parahippocampal white matter, which causes an apparent change in topology. Probably the topology correction is making the wrong choice (cutting instead of filling). I would fill in a few voxels to make sure the strand stays connected all the way out, then run autorecon2-wm
