Hi Richard,
something is badly wrong with your surface. mris_fix_topology says: before topology correction, eno=-305 (nv=37379, nf=75536, ne=113220, g=153)
37379 vertices is not nearly enough. It should be more like 120000-160000. Look at the overlay of your orig surface and see what it looks like. The initial euler number of -305 is also way too negative.

The first run suggested the use of wsatlas. Even with this, the watershed algorithm did not think the segmentation was correct.
I have had others try to process this data on a Mac, but it appears to hang the computer.
The T1 surfaces look ok
