Hello Experts:
I encountered one big issue with cortical segmentation by using Freesurfer. See the image I attached. There are some hyper-intense thin white surface strip at the edge of cortex. Sometimes Freesurfer misclassified them as white matter. Even not, I am not sure whether those are gray matter or not. Anyone knows what are they, and what caused this ³artifacts²? Is there a way to get rid of them on the scanner?
I appreciate anyone points me to the right direction.
