try giving it the full path to the curv file. I think "curv" is the right format to specify, but I believe it needs the full path to the src and target

The argument to --src_type should be the input file (eg, lh.curv, lh.sulc, lh.thickness). The --trgsurfval should be the name of the output file and --trg_type should be curv
