Dear all, I am using freesurfer stable 3.0.1. If I want to rename a subject after the subject has been fully processed, are there any extra steps I would need to take to ensure that the subjects files are referenced correctly in group analysis/ future processing? Thanks, Sasha

I think the only problem you may run into is path to the talairach.xfm file. The recent/stable versions are smart enough to look in places relative to the volume being read. The older version imbed the full path into the volume file. If this is the case, you can change the path with something like:
set cmd = (mri_add_xform_to_header -c \ $subjdir/mri/transforms/talairach.xfm \ $origvol $origvol)
