Looking near the center of the picture, you will notice that the pial surface crosses the white matter. This is one of two slices where this happens. Is this a case where I edit the pial surface or the white matter, or both?

Hi Cole,
that's in hippocampus, so it doesn't matter. Note that it's also hard to say whether they are really crossing or just close together in 3D. In any case, it's not cortex so I wouldn't worry about it.
