Jackie,

Both the dev and public stable distributions of tkmedit should work on the Intel Mac.

Are you trying to run tkmedit directly from an X Window from the console of the machine? This should definitely work. Or are you trying to run it remotely, via ssh or a vnc connection? If using ssh, be sure to include the -Y option (ie ssh -Y).

Have you installed the X11Update2006 package from Apple? I think that fixes this problem. A copy of it is here:
