Dear Users: I would like to ask how to treat the data of a subject for whom segmentation worked alright but the parcellation looks like the one I am herein attaching.
Thanks, Francesca

Hi Francesca,
usually that means the surface was regenerated but not the parcellation. Try remaking the parcellation and see if it goes away.

Do you mean re-launching auto-recon 3? Also, I am visualizing those parcellations of data analyzed with the first version of freesurfer whereas I know have the latest one. Do you think this might be a point for some of them? Finally, does this affect the values of regional cortical thickness? Thanks, Francesca

I wouldn't trust anything from the parcellations. Rerunning autorecon3 is probably the easiest thing to do
