Dear FS experts: I am using MRICron software to convert DICOM to NII. However, one 3D MRI DICOM will generate three nii files: Such as xxxx.nii, *co*XXX.nii, *o*XXX.nii
When I use MRIcron to preview these files, some files show entire 3D MRI, but others only show some parts of images. (See attached sample).
I am wondering which files should be loaded into FS analysis.
thanks Lawrence Emory University.
Hello,
It looks like something is wrong with the nifti file. When you used the dcm2nii converter, are you sure your folder had all the DICOMs in place? Because the resulting nifti looks like it might have been converted with some DICOMs missing. The "co" stands for "cropped orthogonal", but it shouldn't have the result of cropping out the brain like the nifti you attached.
Best, Daniela

Hi Lawrence
why not just give the dicom directly to FS recon-all?
