You can create an annotation of the lobels using mri_annoation2label with the --lobesStrict option. Once you have that you can run mri_aparc2aseg using the --wmparc option (look in the recon-all.log file for an example of how the wmparc.mgz is created), then use mri_segstats to get the volumes (again, look in the recon-all.log file for examples of creating wmparc.stats). doug
