All output generated is redirected to a temporary log file by me. Fortunately, it is still available and when I look at it I see what happened: it doesn’t find Matlab runtime in the FreeSurferv6 directory. I’m sorry about this, I just have to copy the MCRv80 from FreeSurferv6b to v6 and it will do the hippocampal subfields segmentation.

All datasets that I've processed sofar with v6 resulted in exactly the same error during running the command:
mris_anatomical_stats -th3 -mgz -f ../stats/rh.BA_exvivo.thresh.stats -b -a ./rh.BA_exvivo.thresh.annot -c ./BA_exvivo.thresh.ctab 001 rh white
I'm on a MacPro OSX10.7 with 32 GB RAM. These are 7T high-res data (0.7 mm isotropic voxel size) and were previously processed successfully with v6b. The log file is attached.
