Hello,
I had a follow up question regarding the CerebralWhiteMatter variable from aseg.stats.
1. Does this include the white matter underlying the cortex?
2. How about the subcortical white matter? (For example, I noticed that there was a separate value for gray matter -SubCortGray- but not for white matter. Is it because this is already included in the CerebralWhiteMatter?)

It includes the all the WM in each hemisphere (excludes cerebellum WM and brainstem)

What do you mean by subcortical WM? Technically, there is no WM in cortex, so all WM is sub-cortical whereas GM can be cortical or subcortical
