Sorry could you elaborate on this a little bit? I believe this was not the conclusion of the Chumbley et al., 2010 paper... Maybe I'm getting something wrong. Please explain.

Therefore, in SPM8 FDRc (based on the cluster volume) was implemented and should be preferred over FDRp, isn't it?

SPM8 implements topological FDR over peaks - spm_uc_peakFDR.m and spm_P_peakFDR.m .
