you need to run specify -qcache on the recon-all command line. You should be able to just run it now that -all has finished and it will be pretty fast.

Previously I did not converted my data to .nii and I got all the files in surf folder. I used the following command earlier recon-all -i <path-to-dicom> -subject <name-of-the-subject> -all -qcache & waiting for reply
