You might consider applying for a (free) Teragrid account with which you can relatively easily obtain 30 thousand CPU hours in a Development Allocation. We're using a few allocations for neuroimaging analysis workflows including FreeSurfer. Just to understand, would they have charged you 33*100*0.75 ($2475) dollars for this?
