It looks like there is something wrong with your dicom file because it does not have an image orientation tag (a very basic piece of information). Are you sure it is the right dicom? You can also try converting it to nifti with dcm2niix then feeding the nifti into recon-all

Hello FreeSurfer Developers,

I a beginner freesurfer user. It is my first patient that I try to process.

The patient data was obtained on Philips MRI Achieva 3.0 T with dStream application.

I performed

/Applications/freesurfer/bin/recon-all -i /Users/anton.troitskii/Documents/FreeSurferData/Patients_input/2018-08-19/DICOM/IM_0001.dcm -subject Test1 -all

The process started and an error occurred. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to trouble-shoot this one? Also, Ive attached the recon-all.log in case it's of any use.
