Do you have a .license file in your /Applications/freesurfer directory?

If so try making a copy of it and calling it license.txt and try again. If that still doesnt work please email me your .license file TO MY PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS, NOT THE FREESURFER LIST. Thanks.
